	SUPPLEMENTAL TERMS and CONDITIONS FOR BAREBOAT CHARTERS...
General	Our General Terms and Conditions apply to all bookings made by Aegean Tour Travel. The terms, conditions and information included below, relate to specifically to our bareboat charters operated by Yildiz-Crusader Yachting, and are supplemental to our General Terms and Conditions. A copy of the supplemental Yildiz-Crusader Yachting bareboat charter conditions will be included with our booking details and payment options for acceptance by, and the signature of the charterer.

Pricing

All prices for bareboat charters are as shown on our website or as amended by any quotation subsequently supplied by Aegean Tour Travel.

Included in the Price

· Fully Equipped Charter Yacht (as per the yacht’s detail sheet).
· Charter and berth tax.
· Transit log
· Initial harbour master fees.
· Supply and laundering of linen and tea towels (not personal towels).
· Water and gas.
· Full butane gas cylinders at start of charter.
· Full diesel, water and outboard fuel tanks at start of charter.
· Assistance from experienced staff.
· Hull insurance.
· End Cleaning.

Not Included in the Price

· Flights and transfers.
· Holiday insurance.
· Harbour dues and marina fees away from the yachts base port.
· Food and Drink.
· Outboard fuel used.
· Diesel used.

Child Safety

Please inform us if child safety equipment is required. Subject to availability buoyancy aids and harnesses will be provided at no extra cost.

Skippers Experience

For bareboat charters, one member of the crew must be competent in skippering the yacht and have had experience as skipper on a similar sized yacht. At least one competent crew member to assist the skipper is also required

Information Required

As soon as possible we require the passport number and nationality of each member of your party, and details of the skippers sailing experience. This will ensure that the transit log and the ship’s papers are ready on arrival. If airport welcome and transfers are included, we will also require your flight details.
NOTE: Under Turkish law, it is not permitted to carry more persons on the yacht than the number of berths stated on the yacht detail sheet. All people on board must be listed on the transit log.

Boarding

Official embarkation time is 16h00 on the first day; disembarkation time is 10h00 on the last day of your charter. However, we will make every effort to allow your party to embark and disembark at times that suit your arrival, subject to availability of the yacht. Aegean Tour Travel can arrange local accommodation if arrival times do not coincide with the charter start and finish dates.

General Information

Life in Turkey is generally informal, even in restaurants and bars. Lightweight trousers, shorts and t-shirts are usual. Some protection from the sun is needed, a sun hat, long sleeves and plenty of sun lotion is advisable. We also suggest you bring along a sweat shirt for cooler evenings, as well as light waterproofs. Stowage space onboard yachts is always limited, so soft bags are best.

Provisions

Fresh food is cheap and abundant and shopping at the markets is an experience not to be missed. There are bakers, grocers, and butchers at most ports of call. As in any foreign country it is advisable to bring along your favorite items, though many imported goods are now available in Turkey. Eating out is cheap at around €13 ($12, £8), per person, including drinks. Also 'good buys' include, handmade Turkish carpets, gold and leather goods, usually inexpensive and of good quality.

Currency

For best bargaining, take hard currency cash (clean unmarked notes), or travellers checks. For incidental purchases, change only as much into Turkish Lira as you require for 2 or 3 days at a time. There is no need to buy Turkish Lira before arrival in Turkey. Credit cards are widely accepted in all the resorts, including ATM points.

Passports and Visas

For British and American citizens, a valid passport is required to enter Turkey. Visa stickers can be obtained from immigration on arrival, USA-$45, UK-£10, (exact payment in cash). Visa requirements for visitors from other countries can be found HERE.

Vaccinations

At present there are no compulsory vaccination requirements for central and western Turkey. For up-to-date information, consult your own doctor.

Cancellation

We strongly recommend that all members of the charter group obtain holiday insurance that includes cancellation cover.

Notice of cancellation must be given as soon as possible. Cancellation will only become effective from the time notice is RECEIVED in writing, (post, fax or email).
Cancellation charges for bareboat charters vary from our normal published cancellation policy, as follows:
Cancellation received:
· Up to eight weeks before commencement of the charter, 40% of the charter fee.
· After eight weeks before commencement of the charter, 100% of the charter fee.
